Flavor, brewing & the story behind this coffee
We roast this blend of Brazilian, Kenyan and Guatemalan Arabica coffee in small batches at Firehouse Coffee in Pennsylvania. Its chocolate-forward character carries through steamed milk, while its balance makes it just as enjoyable as an espresso or Americano.
- Tasting notes: Dark chocolate, caramelized sugar, roasted nuts and cocoa.
- Cup profile: Bold, full-bodied espresso with a smooth finish.
- Your choice: Whole bean or ground coffee.
- Bag sizes: 12 oz, 1 lb (16 oz) and 5 lb.
- Brew it your way: Espresso, latte, cappuccino, Americano, moka pot or drip coffee.
Whole Bean Espresso or Ground Coffee?
For an espresso machine, choose whole bean espresso coffee and grind it fresh with a grinder that lets you make fine adjustments. That gives you control over how quickly the shot flows and how it tastes. Follow your machine's brewing guidance, then adjust for the balance you enjoy.
Our ground option is listed as a medium grind, making it a convenient choice for drip brewing. If you need a particular grind for an espresso machine or moka pot, contact the Bean Team before ordering, or choose whole bean and grind for your brewer.
From Your First Bag to a 5 lb Espresso Supply
Choose a 12 oz bag of whole bean espresso to get to know V-Tach, a 1 lb whole bean bag for your daily routine, or 5 lb espresso beans for a busy home coffee bar or shared break room. Ground coffee is available in all three sizes. Subscription options are available above when you're ready to keep your favorite blend on hand.
