Wine Description
Escorihuela Gascón 1884 Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep ruby red colour with bright purple highlights. The nose is expressive and classic, offering intense aromas of blackcurrant, plums, and wild berries layered with spicy notes of black pepper, vanilla, and cedar. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and velvety, featuring a juicy core of cassis and dark cherry fruit supported by polished tannins and a hint of mint. It is characterized by its balanced acidity and a long, savoury finish that showcases notes of dark chocolate and tobacco. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for eight months in French oak and has an ABV of 13.5%. The wine is not certified organic. The optimal drinking window is from release through 2030.
