The E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Brillantes proves that a Connecticut-wrapped cigar doesn't have to be one-dimensional. Wrapped in silky Ecuador Connecticut leaf over Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos, it delivers a creamy, refined smoke with natural sweetness, cedar, toasted nuts, and just enough pepper to keep things interesting.
As the cigar develops, subtle wood and earthy notes become more noticeable while the smooth, balanced character remains throughout. It's an excellent choice for smokers who appreciate elegance over strength. This cigar was rated 91 by Cigar Aficionado Magazine.
Fog & Flame Notes: If you're new to premium cigars but want something with a little more character than a typical Connecticut, this is an excellent place to start. It stays smooth and approachable while offering enough cedar, cream, and gentle spice to show how nuanced a mild cigar can be. It's also one we happily recommend to experienced smokers looking for an easy afternoon smoke.
