Edradour 12 Year Old 2013 Ibisco Decanter is a limited Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced at Edradour Distillery and presented in the distillery’s distinctive Ibisco decanter. Distilled in 2013 and matured for 12 years, this release was bottled at a powerful natural 60.7% ABV. Its cask-strength presentation emphasizes Edradour’s characteristically rich and weighty spirit, delivering concentrated fruit, malt sweetness, vanilla, spice and oak.
Food Pairing: Mature cheddar, roasted nuts, apple crumble, crème brûlée, dark chocolate or buttery shortbread.
Tasting Notes: Full-bodied and concentrated with ripe fruit and sweet malt alongside vanilla, caramel, warming spice and oak.
Nose: Rich malt and orchard fruit with vanilla, honeyed sweetness and warming oak spice.
Palate: Powerful and oily with ripe fruit, creamy vanilla, caramel and malt, developing peppery spice and structured oak.
Finish: Long and warming with lingering malt sweetness, vanilla, fruit and drying oak spice.
Serve: Allow it to rest in the glass before drinking. At 60.7% ABV, enjoy neat or gradually add a few drops of water to open the aromas and soften the alcohol strength.
