Once only crafted for company employees, Drew Estate’s Liga Privada series has become a go-to connoisseur favorite renowned for rich, wholly unique blends. The Liga Privada No. 9 series is a cherished range created especially for Steve Saka, Drew Estate’s one-time boss. The blend is classic Saka, big, bold, flavorful, and complex.
The Liga Privada No. 9 Robusto continues to find fans around the world thanks to its sumptuous composition. Cuban-seed fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua are held in place by a rich Brazilian Mata Fina binder. A Connecticut Broadleaf Oscuro wrapper leaf, fermented for 18 months, finishes off the exquisitely rolled 5” x 54 Robusto.
The Liga Privada No. 9 Robusto lavishes the senses with deep-rooted natural tobacco notes, supported by flourishes of espresso, cedar, oak, chocolate, earth, and spice flavors. The medium-to-full-bodied smoke expands in character to include sweet and creamy notes before a memorably rich grand finale.
