From Canada’s premier wine region, British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, this Pinot Noir is crafted by Meyer Family Vineyards, a boutique winery based in Okanagan Falls. Established by JAK and Janice Meyer, the winery has built a strong reputation for producing small-lot wines with a Burgundian focus. Their McLean Creek Road Vineyard is a flagship site, known for its diverse slopes and soils that contribute to nuanced expressions of Pinot Noir.
This 2023 Pinot Noir showcases a vivid ruby hue, offering lifted aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle wild herbs with an undercurrent of earthy spice. On the palate, it is elegantly textured, medium bodied, and vibrantly fresh, delivering flavours of cranberry, pomegranate, and forest floor. Gentle oak integration adds hints of vanilla and clove, with silky tannins leading into a lingering, refined finish.
Food Pairing
Pair this wine with duck confit, wild mushroom risotto, or herb-roasted chicken. These dishes amplify the wine’s savoury elements and finesse. A perfect match to enhance the wine’s complexity.
