Florida is home to a rich cigar and tobacco history, yet tobacco-growing had nearly vanished from the Sunshine State by 1977. Drew Estate and Florida-based cigar retailing giant Jeff Borysiewicz showcase a new era in Florida tobacco with Drew Estate’s 20 Acre Farm series. The line is highlighted by tobaccos that Borysiewicz cultivates on a 20-acre farm near Clermont, Florida. The result is a rich-tasting, silky smooth smoke that opens a new world of cigar smoking opportunities.
The 20 Acre Farm Toro is handcrafted at Drew Estate’s factory in Nicaragua. The cigar’s recipe features a beautiful Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, Honduran Sun Grown Habano binder, and Esteli and Jalapa filler leaves from Nicaragua. In addition, the filler blend features Florida Sun Grown tobacco from the 20-acre plot Borysiewicz has farmed since 2013.
The 6” x 52 Toro is a medium-bodied delight filled with savory wood flavors, led by waves of cedar and oak. Earth, pepper, nut, and spice notes flow freely as a sweet dab of citrus adds zest to the occasion. A creamy undertone ties it all together, as a lively boost in character completes a satisfying finish.
Featuring an attractive cedar-wrapping, the Drew Estate 20 Acre Farm Toro is an exquisite smoke that reinforces Drew Estate’s esteem and demonstrates the leaps and bounds Borysiewicz has made in the arena of Florida tobacco cultivation. A uniquely rewarding smoke to be prized by all.
