Bachelet-Monnot Chassagne-Montrachet 2023 is crafted from 100% Chardonnay sourced from eight parcels across the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in French oak before finishing in tank, it displays aromas of yellow plum, lemon, white flowers, praline, and brioche with vibrant minerality, precision, and an elegant, persistent finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with lobster, scallops, grilled turbot, roast chicken, creamy mushroom dishes, and aged Comté cheese.
92 Points - Jasper Morris
Seven plots in various locations, all suited to chardonnay. A little more reductive on the palate, clean white fruit behind, with good tension at the finish. Not too fleshy but with adequate concentration. A high class Chassagne.
Barrel Sample: 90–92
