Privada Storytelling: A Rare Expression of Signature Precision
The Colorado Claro Special R is a cigar you don’t just smoke—you wait for it. This is one of the rarest offerings in Davidoff’s portfolio, produced only when their prized Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper achieves its signature reddish hue and balanced strength.
The Special R format gives this blend a fuller, more immediate flavor delivery. It’s compact and bold—but still pure Davidoff. Creamy, structured, and refined. Aged Dominican fillers form the core, while the wrapper adds an uncommon depth and gentle spice that sets this blend apart from the rest of the white-label family.
Flavor Journey:
-
First Third: Opens with warm cedar and roasted nuts, touched by dried fruit and faint pepper
-
Second Third: Notes of graham cracker, soft cinnamon, and creamy cocoa join the profile
-
Final Third: Earth and coffee tones take the lead, supported by a lingering nutty sweetness
Each draw is effortless. The transitions are balanced. The finish is long, layered, and composed.
Why It’s Privada-Worthy
At Privada, we chase the rare—and this cigar defines it. The Colorado Claro wrapper is never guaranteed. It’s a product of nature, care, and patience. When it hits the right shade and fermentation mark, Davidoff greenlights a small run. And that’s when we move.
The Special R is your invitation to experience Davidoff’s core philosophy—balance, elegance, detail—but with just a little more volume and richness.
