The La Palina 1948 was created to celebrate the 75th birthday of La Palina Chairman Bill Paley, marking a special collaboration with Oliva. Handcrafted at Oliva's factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, this annual limited release is produced in only a small number of boxes each year, making it one of the brand's most sought after offerings.
Available in four box pressed vitolas, including this 5 x 52 Robusto, the 1948 features a commemorative band depicting Estelí, Nicaragua and Manhattan, New York as they appeared in the 1940s, honoring both the brand's heritage and its connection to premium cigar craftsmanship.
Wrapped in a Sun Grown Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers, the La Palina 1948 delivers a balanced medium bodied smoking experience with the refined complexity and impeccable construction expected from two of the industry's most respected names.
