What Makes It Special
Madeira wine casks bring oxidative richness, dried fruit notes, and honeyed sweetness, while Armagnac barrels add grape character, vanilla, and subtle brandy influence. Together, they create a rye whiskey that's both familiar and excitingly different - the bold spice you expect from rye, enhanced by European wine and brandy complexity.
The "Blunt Blend" name reflects Dark Arts' straightforward approach to innovative finishing - no subtlety, just bold flavor combinations that push boundaries. This is rye whiskey for adventurous drinkers who appreciate both traditional American whiskey and the sophisticated influence of European wine and brandy casks.
