Cragganmore Distillers Edition 2023 is a Speyside single malt from John Smith’s legendary 1869 distillery — the first Speyside distillery purpose-built for railway transport — with the characteristic clean, serious, and complex character produced by Smith’s unique flat-top stills, given additional depth and complexity through Port wood double maturation.
The Diageo Distillers Edition presents Classic Malts with a specifically selected wine or sherry cask double maturation finish each year. Cragganmore’s Distillers Edition consistently uses Port wood — the rich, fruity, and warming character of Port casks adding a layer of sweetness and complexity to the distinctive Cragganmore base that the flat-top stills produce. The 2023 release continues this programme. Browse the full Scotch whisky collection at Wooden Cork.
