This exceptional estate-grown red wine from Friuli displays a deep ruby red color with elegant violet hues. The bouquet is highly distinctive, intense, and complex, instantly opening with characteristic, pungent aromas of crushed black pepper and green peppercorns, beautifully layered with ripe wild blackberries, dark plums, and subtle nuances of forest floor, wood smoke, and sweet baking spices. On the palate, it delivers a medium-to-full-bodied structure where a vibrant, crunchy acidity perfectly balances the rich dark fruit core. The mouthfeel is velvety and remarkably fluid, supported by fine-grained, smooth tannins that culminate in a long, savory, and pleasantly spicy finish.
Food Pairing: Outstanding alongside roasted wild game, duck breast with berry reduction, grilled pork chops, hearty stews, and medium-aged regional cheeses.
