Cline Ancient Vines Mourvèdre 2023 750ml is a Contra Costa County red wine from Cline Family Cellars. The winery sources this bottling from dry-farmed vineyards in Oakley, including plantings more than 100 years old. Cline's exact 2023 record identifies a 750 mL bottle at 14.5% ABV and notes 12 months of aging. The authenticated supplier item independently confirms the 2023 vintage, exact expression, bottle size, and single-bottle configuration.
Cline describes plum and cedar as the dominant palate characters, supported by lively acidity and refined tannins. The Mourvèdre grape and old-vine Contra Costa fruit give this wine its identity, while the measured oak maturation adds structure without changing the varietal focus. The bottle's front label reads Ancient Vines, Dry Farmed, Cline Family Cellars, Mourvèdre, and Contra Costa County. This is the standard 750 mL 2023 table-wine release, not Cline's smaller late-harvest Mourvèdre or a mixed package.
