Teeling Black Pitts Peated Irish Whiskey
This bold single malt from Dublin’s Teeling Distillery redefines Irish whiskey with a rare and compelling peated profile. It is inspired by the historic Blackpitts area near the old Liberties malting district. Maturation takes place in a carefully chosen combination of ex bourbon barrels and Sauternes sweet wine casks from France.
- BBQ smoke, citrus and sweet spice on the nose with balanced wood character
- Palate delivers grilled pineapple, salted caramel, orchard fruit and soft peat
- Teeling Blackpitts Peated Irish Whiskey finishes with smokey oak and a sweet, spicy aftertaste
This peated Irish whiskey pairs exceptionally with grilled red meats, smoked duck, or charred halloumi. It also complements rich desserts like dark chocolate torte or sticky toffee pudding.
