Cantera Negra, translated as "Black Quarry," draws its inspiration from the black volcanic rock prevalent in the agave fields of Jalisco, Mexico. This distinctive geological feature serves as the foundation for the brand's character and identity. Cantera Negra Café, a renowned coffee liqueur, embodies this essence with its unique profile and refined taste. When combined with the award-winning Cantera Negra tequilas, the result is a meticulously balanced craft cocktail, offering a rich tapestry of flavors and unparalleled smoothness. Over four decades ago, Don Alberto Becherano embarked on a journey of tequila craftsmanship alongside his family, initially as a hobby. Over the course of a decade, he dedicated himself to perfecting his tequila-making method, earning acclaim within his community. Today, the Becherano Family continues this legacy, producing tequila that has evolved into the esteemed Cantera Negra brand. Cantera Negra, meaning "Black Quarry," pays homage to the dark volcanic soil in Jalisco's agave fields. This unique terroir imparts a distinct minerality and smoothness to Cantera Negra's award-winning tequila portfolio. The brand's commitment to quality and tradition is evident in each sip, showcasing the artistry of the Becherano Family. One of Cantera Negra's standout offerings is Cantera Negra Café, a premium coffee liqueur crafted with 100% agave spirit.
