Domaine Calvez Bobinet Aunis 2024 showcases Pineau d'Aunis, a rare Loire Valley grape with medieval origins, grown in a single 35-year-old vineyard on tuffeau limestone soils in Saumur. Sébastien Bobinet and Émeline Calvez hand-harvest the fruit and employ carbonic maceration to preserve the variety's signature peppery character. The wine then rests for five months in old barrels before bottling. Domaine Calvez Bobinet Aunis 2024 is released unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfur, reflecting the estate's commitment to minimal intervention winemaking in their ancient cellars carved into the Saumur hillside. Approximately 12% ABV.
