Party Sweets Pink Buttermints are soft, buttery unwrapped mints sold in a 2.5-pound bag containing about 350 pink candies, ideal for decorating tables or filling favor bags.
These small, pastel pink buttermints from Party Sweets (made by Hospitality Mints) combine classic butter and peppermint notes with a soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture. Packaged loose and unwrapped, the candies are intended for party décor, candy buffets, and gift bags where guests can help themselves. Each bag holds approximately 2.5 pounds, roughly 350 pieces, and the recipe relies on pure cane sugar, real butter, and triple-distilled peppermint oil. They are also gluten-free, fat-free, kosher, and contain no trans-fat, making them an easy choice for many event planners.
How do these buttermints work as party decorations?
Unwrapped pink buttermints add color and texture to tablescapes without the need for extra packaging. Scatter them across dessert tables, nestle them around centerpieces, or fill clear jars to create an attractive candy display that invites guests to nibble.
- Use as table confetti to reinforce a pink or pastel color scheme
- Fill apothecary jars, glass bowls, or candy dishes for a buffet
- Scatter around centerpieces for instant visual interest
Can I use these buttermints for favor bags and portioning?
The loose format makes it simple to portion by hand or with scoops into small favor bags, boxes, or cones. Each 2.5-pound bag holds approximately 350 pieces, so you can quickly calculate servings for wedding favors, baby showers, birthdays, or corporate events.
- Approximately 350 mints per bag for easy guest-count planning
- Great for small favor bags (5–15 mints each) or mixed candy cones
- Use scoops or measuring cups for consistent portions
What’s in these mints and do they meet dietary preferences?
Party Sweets buttermints are crafted with simple, quality ingredients: pure cane sugar, real butter, sustainably sourced palm oil, and triple-distilled peppermint oil. The product is labeled gluten-free, fat-free, kosher, and free of trans-fats, which helps when accommodating common dietary needs—always check the bag for current allergen statements.

How should I store and serve loose buttermints?
Keep unopened bags in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight to preserve texture and flavor. Once opened, store in an airtight container to prevent moisture absorption and maintain the candies’ soft mouthfeel. For events, present the mints in clean jars with scoops or small paper cones for a hygienic, self-serve experience.
- Store sealed at room temperature away from heat and humidity
- After opening, use airtight containers to retain texture
- Serve with scoops, tongs, or pre-portioned favor bags for hygiene
