We proudly present the "Ole!" - a 5-Year-Old Straight Bourbon, exquisitely finished in Chinato Vermouth casks from Bull Run, a hallmark of artisanal spirits from Oregon. From a selection of four distinct samples, this one stood out prominently, throwing us a delightful curveball with its unique profile.
At The Prime Barrel, we're particularly discerning when it comes to wine-finished bourbons, always seeking that impeccable balance. This selection didn't just meet our stringent criteria—it surpassed them. The bourbon's harmonious melding with the aromatic nuances of Chinato Vermouth has resulted in a singular expression we're ecstatic about. This pick not only excels when sipped neat but also shines as a splendid after-meal aperitif. And while the proof might seem light to some, don't be deterred. It's impeccably balanced for this expression, making it irresistibly "crushable." This gem has earned our "Selected by The Prime Barrel" stamp of approval, showcasing our commitment to curating only the finest.
Tasting Notes: Floral, almost Irish spring on the nose. Buttery and nutty with a hint of fruit, on a palate with a long finish.
