This structured and aromatic red wine originates from Italy, specifically within the northern region of Trentino and the Trentino DOC subregion. Bottega Vinai is a premium range from the Cavit winery, which was founded in 1957 and operates as a large cooperative of heritage family growers. The winemaking philosophy for this line is centred on a craftsman's approach, where grapes are specially selected from the top 3% of the most suitable vineyard plots and vinified in small batches to express the authentic character of the terroir.
Wine Description
The Bottega Vinai Cabernet Sauvignon presents a very intense ruby red colour. The sensory profile features a powerful nose of woodland fruits, particularly blueberry and blackberry, which are layered with hints of toasted vanilla and spicy notes such as cloves. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and juicy, showcasing a velvety texture and a sensation of fullness due to the presence of substantial soft tannins. It is characterized by perfect harmony and balance, leading to a persistent finish with lingering savory spice. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon typically has an ABV of 13.5%. While the winery employs rigorous vineyard management, this wine is not indicated as organic.
