The 2020 Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino presents a luminous, deep ruby-garnet color in the glass with brick and terracotta reflections along the rim. Its sensory profile is exceptionally fresh, high-toned, and complex, delivering an expansive, precise, and noble portrayal of classic Montalcino Sangiovese. The bouquet opens with a soaring display of dried red cherries, wild strawberries, and ripe red plums, seamlessly layered with complex underlays of dried rose petals, sweet pipe tobacco, leather, crushed stone minerality, and a subtle trace of Mediterranean brushwood (macchia).
