Bella is a proudly all-natural sparkling wine house rooted in the wild and windswept Similkameen Valley, BC, crafting wines that celebrate the moment, with bubbles born from the soil, soul, and a hint of chaos.
Bella Wines began in 2011 and has been a staple of the BC natural wine community ever since. The previous owners crafted the wines on their Naramata property, using grapes from their own vineyard and from neighbouring vineyards. Bella became known for the tart, crisp Gamay bubbles and experimental pet-nats.
In 2024, Bella passed into new hands—those of winemaker and viticulturist Bree McKeage. Bree brings a deep love of land and low-intervention winemaking to Bella's next chapter. She’s serious about farming holistically (and joyfully), always with a microscope on soil health and a magnifying glass on flavour. Her vision? To keep Bella’s roots intact while expanding its reach, introducing more people to the magic of wild bubbles made with integrity and intention. Now based in Similkameen on a property she co-owns with her partner Rajen, Bree is guiding Bella into a new era—still all sparkle, zero fluff.
