When Ashton cigars began their partnership with cigar superstar Carlos Fuente, Jr., the idea was simple: Create a superior cigar that is as smooth as any mild cigar on the market, yet flavorful enough to hold its own with the most experienced palate. That concept is exemplified perfectly with the Ashton Monarch.
The Monarch is encased in a brilliantly white aluminum tube that is perfect for those on the go. When the classic 6” x 49 cigar emerges from its protective tube, its brilliant Connecticut shade wrapper emits scintillating aromas of cedar and spice. These aromas join even more pronounced spice and wood flavors that emerge immediately with the first light. While rich in taste, this is a mild smoke that leans towards the medium range.
The Dominican tobaccos that make up the heart of the Ashton Monarch are aged three to four years, making for a lush smoke that should delight for an hour or more. The tube makes the Monarch a no-brainer for travelling and an even better choice for the links.
The Ashton Monarch has all of the hallmarks of a truly classic cigar and is an ideal representative of the Ashton Classic line. Toss a few Monarch tubes in the golf bag, turn off the cellphone and savor from the first tee to the 19th hole and beyond!
