Arianna Occhipinti Il Frappato 2023 stands as the signature wine from one of Sicily's most celebrated natural winemakers. Sourced from 40-year-old vines on sandy, calcareous soils at 280 meters elevation near Vittoria, this 100% Frappato undergoes 30 days skin maceration with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks. Arianna Occhipinti Il Frappato 2023 then ages 14 months in large Slavonian oak botti before bottling unfiltered. The estate's 25 hectares are certified organic and farmed biodynamically. Alcohol reaches 12%, reflecting the variety's naturally light-bodied character. Arianna describes this wine as the one that most resembles her.
