Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml presentation, this limited-edition Blue Label is built from casks chosen under the label's exacting selection standard, where fewer than 1 in 10,000 casks qualify. Whisky drawn from closed distilleries adds weight to the blend, which opens on spice and vanilla before moving into honeyed caramel, hazelnut and dark chocolate. Oak, gentle spice and dried fruit carry through a warm, velvety close, with smoke trailing behind on a long finish.
The Cities of the Future 2220 bottle carries an imagined view of London two centuries from now, pictured as a sustainable metropolis, with interactive digital content that can be reached through a smartphone. It pairs the blending work behind Blue Label with a forward-looking design, making it a piece as suited to a collector's shelf as to a pour.
