The Tempus Maduro by Alec Bradley is a bolder take of the original Tempus series which was born out of a desire to create a cigar from tobaccos that were nurtured slowly by Mother Nature rather than rushed through production. This idea is wonderfully captured with the Tempus Maduro Centuria which delivers a deep structure that could not have been created without proper aging and a little patience.
The Tempus Maduro Centuria is a grand 7” x 49 cigar that features at its heart a lush blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. This blend is stuffed into a Honduran binder leaf and a luxuriously dark Maduro wrapper leaf from Mexico to create a big and vigorous hour and half or so experience.
Once the Alec Bradley Tempus Maduro Centuria is aflame, thick espresso and earth flavors swirl over the palate and tango with savory wood and spice notes. Lively pepper nuances add some muscular depth to the full-bodied smoke that finishes with a divinely voluptuous and lingering flourish.
The Alec Bradley Tempus Maduro Centuria is a cigar that has rocketed to the top of many aficionados’ favorite list and will surely find a place of honor in your humidor. For a truly relaxing expedition enjoy the Tempus Maduro Centuria after an extravagant feast that features braised beef in mole sauce and with a hearty Mezcal.
