Celebrate a legacy of excellence with the Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva, a special release crafted to honor the 85th birthday of cigar legend Julio Eiroa. This Honduran puro breaks from tradition by showcasing rare pinareño-seed tobacco—a departure from the famed Corojo leaf that defines many JRE blends. Originally introduced to Honduras in 1960 by Tino Agurdin, pinareño tobacco is prized for its rich flavor, though notoriously low-yielding and delicate.
Only 4 boxes per vitola, are allowed to be sold to retailers, making this a true limited edition release.
The Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva delivers a complex, medium-to-full-bodied experience that highlights the unique characteristics of this vintage seed. Expect a refined profile layered with earth, pepper, toasted wood, and a natural sweetness that pays tribute to classic Cuban terroir.
Available in two regular production vitolas—Robusto (5 x 50) and Toro (6 x 52)—each cigar is presented in a bold yellow box featuring artwork of Julio’s cherished 1961 Buick, a personal touch that underscores the cigar’s significance.
The Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva is more than a commemorative release—it's a celebration of family, heritage, and innovation in Honduran cigar making.
