1916 Tabacalera Eiroa marks a new chapter for one of Honduras' most respected cigar families. Created by Santi Eiroa, youngest son of CLE founder Christian Eiroa, this cigar is Santi's first full project from concept to finished product — blend and packaging both.
The name honors 1916, the year Santi's great-grandfather, Generoso Eiroa, planted his first tobacco crop in Cuba. More than a century later, that legacy continues through a fourth generation.
The blend pairs a Honduran Habano wrapper and binder with Honduran Corojo and Pinareño fillers. The result is rooted in classic Eiroa character: rich, refined, and unmistakably Honduran.
Though technically regular production, 1916 is highly limited. Only 100 retailers in the U.S. receive allocation. For collectors and Eiroa fans, that scarcity matters, but the bigger story is the next generation of the family's blending voice. Browse the full Eiroa and CLE lineup for more.
