Privada Storytelling
Enclave Habano was the original vision—a diplomatic fusion of strength, sweetness, and spice. Co-created by AJ Fernandez and his father, Ismael, this blend was designed as a unifier: complex enough for seasoned palates but smooth enough for newcomers stepping into boutique cigars. Its Ecuadorian Habano wrapper shimmers with red hues, encasing a sweet and spicy core built around Nicaraguan fillers and a bold Cameroon binder. That binder? It’s the secret weapon—adding exotic spice and aromatic flare rarely found in cigars at this price point. In Privada, the Enclave Habano is your handshake cigar. Your introduction to serious blending. Your call to heritage without the heaviness.
Flavor Journey
-
First third: Opens with cedar, light cinnamon, and sweet cream. A subtle red pepper tingle wakes the palate. Retrohale reveals floral spice.
-
Mid-smoke: The blend deepens with nougat sweetness, earthy leather, and a return of baking spice. Cream and caramel balance it all out.
-
Final third: Bolder cedar and spice return, layered with toast, dried fruit, and a warm, creamy finish that lingers with elegance.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada is about discovery, and Enclave Habano is one of the best-kept open secrets in AJ’s catalog. It’s approachable but far from simple—using a rare Cameroon binder to elevate an otherwise traditional Habano profile. Every puff reveals layers of intention. This cigar bridges generations: the old-school rosado lovers and the new-school boutique hunters. It's a blend built on passion, family, and diplomacy—qualities Privada members know are worth celebrating.
