1792 Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is produced at Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. Crafted from the distillery's signature high-rye bourbon recipe, the expression is created by marrying select barrels chosen by the Master Distiller. Bottled at 46.85% ABV, it balances the sweetness of caramel and vanilla with pronounced rye spice, toasted oak and a rich, full-bodied character.
Food Pairing: Barbecue pulled pork, smoked brisket, grilled steak, glazed ham, aged Gouda, pecan pie, crème brûlée, roasted nuts, and dark chocolate.
Tasting Notes: Deep amber with a rich, full-bodied character, balancing sweet caramel and vanilla against toasted oak and distinctive rye-driven spice.
Nose: Rich caramel, vanilla and toasted oak with sweet corn, dried fruit and rye spice.
Palate: Bold and expressive with honey, caramel and vanilla followed by black pepper, clove, baking spice and charred oak.
Finish: Long and warming with dry oak, dark cocoa and lingering rye spice.
