Yellow Spot 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey
This exceptional Irish whiskey is a full-bodied single pot still expression, aged for 12 years in a trio of oak cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts, and rare Spanish Malaga wine casks. Bottled in extremely limited quantities, it is a rare find.
- Opens with aromas of mown hay, cracked black pepper, sweet peaches and clove oil
- The palate features pot still spice, creamy milk chocolate, honey, coffee and red apples, balanced by toasted oak and Crème Brulee
- The finish is long and complex, with a lingering sweetness, red grape and dry barley notes.
Pair this whiskey with dark chocolate truffles or creme brulee to mirror its dessert-like character. Rich cheeses like Brie or Gruyere also complement the creamy texture and spice. It’s equally at home alongside glazed pork or roasted duck.
