Woodford Reserve Double Oaked showcases an innovative approach to twice-barreled bourbon that creates exceptionally rich and colorful flavor. This 750 mL expression is uniquely matured in separate, charred oak barrels—the second barrel deeply toasted before a light charring—extracting additional amounts of soft, sweet oak character that defines this premium bourbon.
Tasting Profile:
- Rich, sweet oak character from double barrel maturation
- Deep caramel and vanilla sweetness
- Toasted oak with hints of dark chocolate
- Warm baking spices and dried fruit
- Smooth, velvety finish with exceptional depth
- Complex layers from innovative barrel finishing
It is the unique alteration of the fifth source of flavor—maturation—which tells the real story of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. By finishing in a second, deeply toasted barrel, this bourbon achieves a level of complexity and richness that sets it apart from traditional single-barrel expressions. Perfect for bourbon enthusiasts seeking premium quality and the innovative craftsmanship that has made Woodford Reserve a Kentucky legend.
