A gentle and approachable wheated bourbon, Weller Special Reserve delivers softness and sweetness in every sip. Its refined caramel, honey, and vanilla notes offer a smooth introduction to bourbon—ideal for both sipping and elegant cocktails.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Distilled at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky, this bourbon honors William Larue Weller’s legacy as the first to use wheat instead of rye in the mash bill. The recipe includes corn as the dominant grain, with wheat replacing rye. Aged for approximately 4–7 years in new charred American oak barrels, it's part of the iconic W.L. Weller line under the Sazerac Company. Bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV), it showcases a warm, burnt-orange hue.
