Wild Rose Velvet Fog is a quintessential Canadian wheat ale and a flagship offering from Calgary’s own Wild Rose Brewery. This award-winning unfiltered ale is crafted with a unique blend of 50% wheat and 50% barley, resulting in its signature "foggy" appearance and exceptionally smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Known for its approachable and refreshing character, the beer features a bright, citrusy aroma with distinct notes of orange peel and a hint of spicy cloves. On the palate, it is light-to-medium-bodied and crisp, balancing a gentle grainy sweetness with a clean, refreshing finish. Whether enjoyed on a sunny patio or paired with a casual meal, Velvet Fog remains a benchmark for craft wheat ales in Alberta.
