Wild Roots Marionberry Infused Vodka is a plush, fruit-forward spirit that marries the depth of Oregon’s signature berry with clean vodka structure. More jam than juice, it leans into sweetness and texture, making it ideal for sipping or in bold berry cocktails rather than subtle applications.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Wild Roots Spirits, based in Oregon, uses real marionberries in their vodka infusion process and emphasizes natural, additive-free flavoring.
Their branding highlights that the product “tastes just like liquid jam,” and that they use no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors.
Each 750 ml bottle is 70 proof (35 % ABV).
Tasting Profile
Nose:
Dark berry jam, ripe blackberries, plum, and faint floral undertones.
Palate:
Rich and luscious berry compote, with a mix of sweet and tart—think marionberry pie filling. Notes of tart skin, jammy dark fruit, and earthy blackberry leaf.
Finish:
Soft, slightly dry with a residual berry tang and a light jammy sweetness. The finish leans more toward dessert-vodka than clean vodka.
According to Wine Enthusiast, it “almost drinks like a liqueur” with an “inky plum hue and concentrated, jammy dark-fruit aromas and flavors, plus a drying plum-skin finish.”
