Whole Grain Sprouted Brown Rice GABA is a two‑bag pack of 2.2 lb sprouted brown rice (total 4.4 lb) designed for everyday cooking and wholesome grain-based meals.
This pack contains two sealed 2.2 lb bags of GABA sprouted brown rice from Whole Grain Sprouted Brown Rice, offering a convenient quantity for families, meal preppers, or anyone who prefers the flavor and texture of sprouted whole grains. Sprouted brown rice is processed to encourage germination before packaging, which alters the grain's texture and aroma while keeping it whole. The rice cooks similarly to conventional brown rice but with a slightly softer bite and a nutty, aromatic profile that pairs well with savory mains, bowls, and grain salads.
How do I cook this sprouted brown rice so it turns out fluffy?
Cooking sprouted brown rice follows the same basic technique as un-sprouted brown rice but often needs a little less water and cooking time. Rinse the rice under cold water, use a 1.75–2:1 water‑to‑rice ratio, bring to a simmer, cover, and let sit off heat for 10 minutes for best texture.
- Rinse until water runs clear to remove dust and excess starch.
- Use slightly less water than regular brown rice for firmer grains.
- Simmer gently and let steam off‑heat to finish cooking.
- Fluff with a fork before serving to separate grains.
What meals and recipes work well with GABA sprouted brown rice?
GABA sprouted brown rice is versatile across global cuisines: it complements stir‑fries, grain bowls, pilafs, burritos, and soups. Its nutty flavor and tender chew make it an excellent base for both hot and cold dishes.

How should I store the two 2.2 lb bags to keep them fresh?
