Try our Columbia Valley Chardonnay, which just won a Double Gold Medal at the 2022 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition!
In the wine world, Chardonnay has long been referred to as the "winemaker's grape." This popular variety is not only one of the most adaptable in terms of preferred climate and soil type, but it is also varied in the structure and flavor of its wines. These characteristics spell perfection to Watchful Maker's highly awarded winemaking team. This decadent Columbia Valley Chardonnay demonstrates the important impact of location along with every skillful choice of the winemaker as they nurture the wine from grape to bottle. The dry, arid conditions of this AVA's desert-like environment brought forth Chardonnay's warm-climate flavor profile with ripe stone fruit. With that as the base, the winemakers used tasteful oak to round out the palate and add toasty secondary notes, contributing to the wine's overall complexity. With each glass, this wine proudly presents the drinker with the roadmap of its life from vineyard to winery, all under the dedicated eye of the Watchful Maker.
