The Warped Corto Maduro Robusto X54 (5 x 54) takes the dense, concentrated energy of the original Corto concept and drives it into darker, more aggressive territory. Box-pressed and compact, the X54 was created to deliver maximum flavor and body in a format that feels immediate, muscular, and deeply satisfying. Produced at NACSA in Nicaragua, this is one of the boldest cigars in the Warped portfolio—full-bodied, richly textured, and built around intensity without sacrificing refinement.
A dark, oily Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper surrounds a core of entirely Nicaraguan tobaccos, including potent medio tiempo leaf from Estelí, which adds extra strength, density, and depth to the blend. The San Andrés wrapper drives the profile early with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, black pepper, leather, and charred earth, while the medio tiempo adds a darker, more concentrated richness that lingers heavily on the palate. Beneath the power, there’s still balance—subtle sweetness, roasted nuts, and warm spice gradually emerge as the cigar settles in.
The box-pressed Robusto format sharpens the blend’s intensity while keeping the burn cool and deliberate. Thick, chewy smoke pours from each draw as the cigar evolves into deeper layers of cocoa, caramelized wood, molasses, and roasted coffee, all carried through a long, savory finish with persistent spice. Despite its strength, the X54 remains controlled and nuanced rather than overwhelming.
The Warped Corto Maduro Robusto X54 is a modern full-bodied maduro built with precision and purpose—dark, compact, and unapologetically rich from the first draw to the final inch.
