Privada Storytelling
Wes Anderson is one of the few artists whose vision translates into timeless emotion. His first film, Bottle Rocket, was raw, quirky, and unforgettable—a launchpad for his entire career. When Brian Desind of Privada Cigar Club set out to pay homage to Anderson’s cinematic genius, he knew the first installment in the W.A. Collection had to capture that explosive spirit.
Thus, the W.A. Fireworks was born. Crafted entirely from Nicaraguan tobaccos at AJ Fernandez’s esteemed factory, this 7×50 Churchill embodies the spark of creativity, the sudden bursts of flavor and color that define both cinema and cigars. Like fireworks, it is fleeting yet unforgettable—something to be experienced, savored, and remembered.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Opens with cedar, roasted nuts, and black pepper that snap to attention like the first crack of a firework. Cocoa lingers in the background, adding a rich sweetness to the smoke.
-
Second Third: Flavors expand into cream, toasted bread, and a balanced spice that mirrors cinnamon and nutmeg. The retrohale sharpens with white pepper and cedar.
-
Final Third: Intensifies with notes of dark cocoa, charred oak, and a lingering creaminess, finishing with a spark of spice and earthy richness.
Why It Belongs in Privada
The W.A. Fireworks is not just a cigar—it’s the first chapter in a ten-part series inspired by Wes Anderson’s films. Just as Bottle Rocket marked the beginning of a cinematic career that changed storytelling, this cigar marks the beginning of a collector-worthy series within Privada. A true fusion of art, film, and tobacco.
