The brand is known for pushing boundaries, often experimenting with barrel finishes to add unique character to their blends.
Wine Description
Deep ruby in the glass, this whisky-aged red blend reveals a bold aromatic profile with notes of ripe black cherry, plum, and subtle cassis intertwined with nuances of vanilla, toasted oak, and a faint whiff of caramel from its whisky cask maturation. On the palate, it is plush and medium to full-bodied, showcasing layers of dark fruit, baking spice, and chocolate, with a slight smoky edge. Fine-grained tannins and well-integrated acidity lead to a warm, lingering finish with a touch of whisky sweetness that accentuates its smooth texture.
Food Pairing
Pair this wine with char-grilled steak topped with a peppercorn sauce, smoked ribs, or an aged cheddar cheeseboard. The combination highlights the wine’s depth and character, while the whisky-inflected finish complements hearty, savoury dishes beautifully.
