This exceptional vintage Cartier Pentagon lighter, crafted in 1980, is one of the rarest and most desirable models ever produced within the prestigious Les Must de Cartier collection. Executed in a luxurious heavy 24K gold finish (Plaqué Or G), this remarkable lighter features an elegant guilloché engraved pattern, showcasing the precision craftsmanship and timeless refinement for which Cartier is renowned.
A defining feature of this rare version is the three horizontal engraved lines incorporated into the body, a distinctive design element symbolizing Cartier’s iconic Love collection. Combined with the unique Pentagon case design, these details make this one of the most recognizable and collectible vintage Cartier lighters ever produced.
The underside of the lighter bears the original “Plaqué Or G” hallmark, confirming its authentic heavy 24K gold finish. Produced in very limited numbers, this configuration is seldom encountered on the collector’s market and is regarded as one of the rarest and most sought-after Pentagon models in the entire Cartier vintage lighter family.
Preserved in never-used condition, this outstanding example retains exceptional original presentation and is offered as a complete full set with its original box and documents. It represents a museum-quality collector’s piece, combining rarity, exceptional craftsmanship, and one of Cartier’s most distinctive vintage designs.
