Victoria Distillers Bitter Bianca is a premium, meticulously crafted bittersweet aperitif produced in small batches by the makers of the famous Empress 1908 Gin. Uniquely crystal clear in appearance, it is engineered as a modern, transparent alternative to traditional amber and red bitter liqueurs. It is crafted in traditional copper pot stills using world-class Pacific coast water and an intricate blend of 11 unique botanicals, including gentian root, wormwood, orange peel, and the rare African spice "grains of paradise." This creates a sophisticated, multi-layered spirit that perfectly balances bright citrus sweetness with an elegant, lingering herbal bitterness.
Food Pairing: Warm goat cheese crostini, green olives, freshly shucked oysters, salted almonds, or proscuitto-wrapped melon.
TASTING NOTES Crystal clear and colorless with a smooth, well-rounded, and pleasantly slick mouthfeel.
NOSE Highly vibrant and fragrant, opening with crisp aromas of fresh lemon and orange zest, beautifully mingled with delicate floral notes of chamomile, jasmine, and a touch of cracked pepper.
PALATE A harmonious interplay of sweet and bitter; upfront flavors of bright citrus oil and ripe stone fruits seamlessly give way to a robust herbal backbone of bitter gentian, star anise, and wormwood, accented by a pinch of ginger and cardamom.
FINISH Long, clean, and satisfyingly dry, with a gradual transition from fruit sweetness to a warming spice and a pleasant, lingering herbal astringency.
SERVE Highly versatile; perfect when served chilled over ice with soda water and an orange slice, as a "Bianca Spritz" topped with sparkling wine, or as the quintessential bitter star of a crystal-clear White Negroni.
