The Victoria Arduino Eagle One Prima EXP is the creative heart of the Prima family — a single-group professional espresso machine built for explorers. Where the base Prima excels at espresso, the EXP takes things further, introducing PureBrew extraction and a broader palette of beverage possibilities without adding footprint or complexity. It is the machine for roasteries, specialty cafés, bistros, and passionate professionals who want one beautifully designed platform to do it all.
PureBrew — A New Category of Extraction
The defining feature of the EXP is PureBrew — a pressure-free extraction method that sits entirely outside the world of traditional espresso. Using a patented double-layer conical filter, PureBrew produces filter-quality coffee, teas, and botanical infusions directly from a professional espresso machine, with none of the bitterness or over-extraction that pressure can introduce. The result is a clean, nuanced cup that opens the door to specialty filter service, cocktail ingredients, and tea-based beverages — all from the same group head, in the same workflow.
NEO — New Engine Optimisation
The EXP is powered by Victoria Arduino's NEO (New Engine Optimisation) technology — an intelligent instantaneous heating system that warms only the water required for each extraction, nothing more. This means smaller, stainless steel insulated boilers that reach brewing and steaming temperature in approximately 8 minutes, with significantly less energy waste than conventional boiler systems. The result is high performance that is also genuinely sustainable — a machine that is ready fast, draws less power, and runs cleaner over its lifetime.
Steam-by-Wire & Milk Capability
Steam on the EXP is electronically controlled via ergonomically designed levers — a system Victoria Arduino calls Steam-by-Wire. Rather than a mechanical valve, the steam is digitally managed, giving the barista more precise, responsive control over milk texturing. The compact insulated boilers achieve higher steam pressures, delivering dry, powerful steam with a superior power-to-speed ratio. Milk-based drinks are prepared quickly and consistently, without the pressure drop that affects lesser machines under busy service conditions.
VIS — Virtual Intelligent Scale
The Virtual Intelligent Scale is embedded directly into the machine's brewing intelligence. Using algorithmic calculation, VIS digitally estimates the correct dose in the cup in real time — eliminating the need for an external scale on the drip tray and ensuring extraction consistency across every shot, every service.
Connectivity & App Control
The EXP pairs via Bluetooth with the Victoria Arduino E1 Prima app, which automatically recognises the model in use and unlocks the full feature set. From the app, baristas can set espresso and PureBrew extraction temperatures and times, programme steam and hot water delivery, monitor machine performance, manage cleaning cycles, and configure energy-saving modes. Real-time data — shot timers, boiler temperatures, pump pressure — is displayed directly on screen, keeping the barista fully informed without interrupting service.
Design & Build
At 411mm wide, 510mm deep, and 379mm tall, the EXP is among the most space-efficient professional machines of its quality tier — compact enough for intimate café counters or roastery bars, without compromising a single specification. The ghost display appears only when needed, keeping the aesthetic minimal and uncluttered. An Italian leather-wrapped portafilter, automatic group flush on portafilter removal, and a firmly locked drip tray with internal gasket sealing reflect the considered engineering found throughout. Available in a range of colour options — including black, silver, light blue, and custom finishes on request.
Key Specifications
The Eagle One Prima EXP is for those who see a coffee machine not as a single-purpose tool, but as a platform for discovery — one that grows with every new recipe, ingredient, and idea they bring to the bar.
