Key Features
Powerful 1400mAh Battery Performance
The integrated 1400mAh battery provides all-day vaping for most users, with USB-C fast charging getting you back up and running quickly. The battery indicator keeps you informed, though honestly, it could be slightly more detailed.
Dual Activation System
Both button-fired and draw-activated options give you flexibility in how you vape. The sensors are incredibly responsive - perhaps too sensitive if you're used to harder draws.
Smart Vaping Modes
Storm mode delivers intense flavour and vapour production, whilst Wave mode offers a smoother, more controlled experience. The transition between modes is seamless.
Stepless Airflow Control
Unlike many pod kits with fixed airflow holes, the G4 Classic lets you adjust the draw resistance precisely. This feature alone justifies the price difference from basic pod systems.
Compatible with Caliburn G3 Pods
The Uwell Caliburn G4 Classic is fully compatible with the entire range of Caliburn G3 pods, so if you're upgrading from the G3, you'll happy to hear that you can keep using the same pods!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Caliburn G4 Classic suitable for beginners?
Absolutely, it's one of the better starter devices available. The automatic draw activation feels natural for ex-smokers, whilst the button option gives you more control as you develop your preferences. The smart modes take the guesswork out of settings.
How long does the 1400mAh battery last?
For moderate vapers (100-150 puffs daily), expect a full day of use. Heavy users might need to charge by evening. The battery life is significantly better than smaller 900mAh devices, though not quite as long-lasting as larger box mods.
What's the difference between Storm and Wave modes?
Storm mode provides maximum flavour intensity and vapour production - ideal for short, satisfying sessions. Wave mode offers smoother, more controlled output that's better for extended vaping sessions or when you want to be more discreet.
Are the pods really leak-proof?
In my experience, yes. The GPP system creates a much better seal than traditional pods. I've had minimal leaking issues, and when it does occur, it's usually due to overfilling or damaged pod seals.
How often should I replace the pods?
Typically every 1-2 weeks, depending on your e-liquid choice and usage frequency. Sweet, dark liquids will shorten coil life, whilst clearer liquids last longer. You'll notice when it's time - the flavour becomes muted or slightly burnt.
Can I use any e-liquid with this device?
The G4 Classic works best with 50/50 e-liquids or high-PG e-liquids for MTL vaping, or 70/30 VG blends for RDTL style. Avoid very thick, high-VG liquids as they may not wick properly in the mesh coils.
