Trapiche Oak Cask Selected Vineyards Malbec 2022 is a testament to Argentina’s mastery of Malbec. This wine hails from the celebrated Mendoza region, where high-altitude vineyards and ideal terroir create bold, expressive wines. Crafted with meticulous care, it showcases the rich complexity of its varietal, enhanced by aging in oak casks for added depth and structure.
The aromas are a captivating bouquet of blueberry scone, black cherry, and blackberry, layered with hints of leather, espresso bean, and purple flowers. On the palate, the wine delivers luscious flavors of dark berries, black tea, and beet salad, underscored by savory umami tones of beef mallow. Its dry profile is balanced by silky tannins and a satisfying finish, making each sip an indulgent experience. With 13.5% alcohol content, it carries just enough intensity to leave a lasting impression.
Perfect to enjoy now, this Malbec is versatile for pairing. It complements hearty dishes like baked ham, meat loaf, or lasagna and shines brilliantly alongside a perfectly grilled steak. Whether savored solo or with a meal, Trapiche Oak Cask Selected Vineyards Malbec 2022 offers a rich, fruit-forward character that wine lovers will adore.
