This exclusive release represents an audacious interpretation of Allt Gleann. Marking the culmination of the Allt Gleann chapter within their prestigious Legacy Series. Bottled without dilution, it serves as a testament to an unwavering confidence in the exceptional quality of the whisky, shining a spotlight on the robust character that defines this signature style.
- On the nose, Torabhaig's distinctive character emerges with notes of bonfire smoke, peat, and a gentle, sweet embrace of vanilla-infused oak spices.
- The palate unfolds with a deeper exploration of smokiness, intertwined with a subtle salinity and a rich maltiness. Prominently present is a pronounced wood spice, accompanied by delicate hints of grain, capsicum, and the crispness of green apple. Weighty peat embers linger, complemented by a touch of cedar and the evocative aroma of sawdust.
- The finish is of the oaky spice. Punctuated by a tantalising tickle of fire, leaving a lasting impression on the senses.
This whisky pairs beautifully with fresh shellfish, balances the richness of oily fish, and enhances the savoury depth of salty cheese.
