Tinhorn Creek Pinot Gris Washington State 2024 is a vibrant and limited-edition white wine thoughtfully crafted by British Columbia's celebrated Tinhorn Creek Vineyards. Following an extreme winter freeze in the Okanagan Valley in early 2024 that severely impacted local crop yields, the winery sourced premium Pinot Gris grapes from trusted growers in Washington State to create their exclusive Pacific Northwest Collection. In the glass, it displays a bright, pale straw-yellow hue. The inviting aromatic bouquet opens with lively notes of citrus blossom, juicy peach, and ripe honeydew melon. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, crisp, and exceptionally refreshing, delivering a generous core of lemon zest, orchard fruit, and delicate tropical flavors. This juicy, fruit-forward profile is perfectly balanced by a bright, mouthwatering acidity, culminating in a clean, snappy, and highly versatile finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with fresh seafood salads, smoked salmon, baked white fish in a delicate butter sauce, creamy pasta dishes, and soft-ripened cheeses.
