Tinhorn Creek Pinot Gris VQA is a vibrant, refreshing, and highly approachable white wine from one of British Columbia's most celebrated estates, located in the beautiful Golden Mile Bench of the Okanagan Valley. Crafted with meticulous care and cool-fermented in stainless steel to preserve the grape's pure characteristics, this Canadian wine displays a pale straw-yellow hue in the glass. The inviting aromatic bouquet opens with lively notes of ripe Anjou pear, honeydew melon, and white peach, elegantly layered with subtle hints of Meyer lemon, fresh citrus blossom, and a delicate touch of honey. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, crisp, and beautifully focused, delivering a generous core of fresh orchard and soft tropical fruit. This juicy, fruit-forward profile is perfectly balanced by a bright, mouthwatering acidity and an underlying clean minerality, culminating in a snappy, refreshing, and highly versatile finish that makes it a perfect everyday sipper.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with freshly shucked oysters, lightly grilled halibut, fresh green salads, creamy lemon-herb chicken, and soft cheeses like fresh goat cheese.
