An intense and fruit-forward Pacamara with layered notes of tart red berries, stone fruit, and dark chocolate.
With its structured acidity and complex red fruit character, this lot highlights the depth and clarity a well-processed washed Pacamara can achieve. Los Pirineos has earned multiple awards for their Pacamara coffees, reflecting their expertise with this distinctive variety.
Pacamara is sometimes associated with herbal or savory characteristics, depending on genetics and processing. As the cultivar was released before full stabilization, variation between plantings can be significant — which helps explain the wide range of flavor profiles found across different Pacamara lots. This particular example expresses a clean and refined fruit profile without those heavier savory notes.
