The Northern Salt Road Mediterranean Gin is built around high-quality botanicals and fine Mediterranean sea salt, with the salt sourced from the region of Puglia. It is produced in small batches and bottled at 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof) in a 750 ml bottle.
The name points to the Via del Sale, the salt road traveled as far back as the Middle Ages, when merchants loaded their "white gold" onto mules and covered hundreds of miles to reach the towns where sea salt was traded and sold. The gin follows that thread of culture, history and gastronomy, from sea to summit.
Taste and aroma: notes of citrus, fresh herbs and salt. The producer suggests a Gin and Tonic to experience the full flavor.
